DU Womens Soccer Receive NCAA Tourney Bid

The University of Denver women's soccer team [17-1-1] were selected to host the University of Colorado [12-6-2] in the first round of NCAA Tournament on Saturday, Nov. 16. Denver is one of 16 seeded teams, earning a No. 4 seed and coming in at No. 14 in the most recent NSCAA/Continental Tire Women’s National Poll

Earlier this season, the Pioneers handed the Buffs their first loss of the season (and only loss to a non-conference opponent), a 3-0 defeat at CIBER Field at the University of Denver Soccer Stadium.

Good deal. It should be an exciting match up. Got my tix--hopefully students will have a good turnout. The game is at 4:30--should be concluding just before the hockey game. It would be great to see a game environment similar to the well- attended lax games. Good luck to DU!
